KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- Document management solutions provider, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, expects its latest full-colour digital multi-function devices, launched today, to generate RM60 million in sales in Malaysia by end-2014.

Its Director Product Marketing, Stephen Leslie Baker, said the office devices -- ApeosPort-V C and DocuCentre-V C series -- received positive feedback from the customers and the company has already secured pre-orders.

"Malaysian customers love information technology and gadgets," he told reporters after the launch here Tuesday.

Deputy Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, officiated the launch.

President of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific (Malaysia Operation), Sunil Gupta, said Fuji Xerox was committed to developing solutions that were not only ecological but intelligent as well.

"We have designed the new ApeosPort-V C and DocuCentre-V C series to know what you want as a user and provide specific tools needed to work effectively and contribute to a greener environment while maximising productivity and cost efficiency," he said.

The devices, which combine green solutions and innovative technology, allow users to copy, print, scan and fax. They are priced from RM25,000 to RM60,000.

Fuji Xerox has improved the faxing capabilities of these devices with auto distribution feature so users can send faxes to be automatically distributed to folders, email, forwarded to another fax or printed out.

The ApeosPort-V C and DocuCentre-V C series, fastest in their classes, can also connect to mobile devices to print and to Fuji Xerox cloud-based translation services.

The series are also equipped with "Smart Energy Management" to control and power only the functions selected by the users thus reducing power consumption.

Fuji Xerox has also addressed the problem of noise by cutting down sound emission by 61 per cent compared to its predecessor.

The company has 16 dealers with multiple locations nationwide.
