Fuji Xerox adds three Nuvera models

12 November 2009

Fuji Xerox Australia has introduced three new models to its monochrome Nuvera range, strengthening its digital black-and-white production printer portfolio.

Available now in Australia, the new models include the Nuvera 200 EA Perfecting Production System and the Nuvera 200MX and Nuvera 288MX Perfecting Production Systems, which are both designed for the printing of Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) products.

With the addition of the Nuvera 200 EA engine, the Nuvera portfolio of scalable monochrome print engines now includes the Nuvera 100, 120, 144, 200 and 288 systems, bringing the total of the Nuvera range to 10 configurations.

The Nuvera 200 EA features the revolutionary Emulsion Aggregation (EA) fine particle toner, which is not only environmentally- friendly but also creates quality that is comparable to, or exceeds, offset-level output.

Other features of the Nuvera 200 EA include:

  • FreeFlow™ Print Server: The Dual Core Processor handles complex jobs and or a multiple of smaller jobs through its unique Parallel Rip architecture, including requirements for variable data and high resolution printing.
  • Parallel RIP technology: Optimises performance and productivity by RIPing multiple jobs simultaneously or by breaking down large complex jobs to RIP across multiple in-built RIPs.
  • Sheet Enhancement Module: Creates unparalleled sheet flatness even in challenging stock environmental conditions. The Sheet Enhancement Module provides outstanding stack quality and improves performance with down-stream finishing systems.

Enhanced flexibility with Nuvera 200MX and Nuvera 288MX Perfecting Production Systems

The new Nuvera 200MX and Nuvera 288MX engines can print documents such as cheques, rebate forms and financial forms at high resolutions using the powerful tandem architecture - two print engines which are designed and managed as one.

A benefit of this design is "pass through programming" which keeps the system running, providing increased productivity and uptime.

"These latest additions to our leading Nuvera range will enable customers to stay at the cutting edge of black-and-white production printing,” says Paul Sanelli, Marketing Manager - Production Printing Systems at Fuji Xerox Australia.

“Our customers now have an extended monochrome production portfolio which are tailored to meet their high-quality & high-speed printing requirements.”

The Nuvera 200MX and 288MX feature MICR technology offers reliable encoding for scanning and reading using high-speed magnetic readers and sorters.

The machines boast productive printing capabilities with the Nuvera 200MX printing at speeds of up to 200 A4 duplex images per minute, while the Nuvera 288MX can print up to 288 A4 duplex images per minute.

Other features include:

  • Cheque Production Integrity: An optional feature that automatically tracks the total number of cheques in a run and captures every printed MICR line to determine if a number in a cheque sequence is missing, duplicated or out of order. This helps protect again
