An ldap scan to email search that doesn't require 5 button pushes (Xerox can in 2). Color scan on everything. Web access from MFP panel. More sophisticated scanning setup (create scan profiles in one application and then push to one or multiple devices simutaneously, Xerox does this). PostScript emulation at a fraction of the cost of the real postscript option (as most of our competitors have). Scan2print. Oh yes, and most important for Ricoh to stop trying to acquire it's already acquired customer base (dealer channel customers) and focus on competitive base and product development. Sorry if I am ranting.

Yes, that's what he means by "The PS3 option... includes".

Any MFP can SEND to another printer (don't need postscript to send), but without Postscript, the receiving printer can't automatically print it. Once you add the PS3 option, you have this ability to receive and print, without it, you don't.

In terms of security, the Konica Minolta biometric (finger vein) technology is impressive.

I agree, we have a scanning solution using fingerprint identification and customers love it. It's easy to forget your password or ID card, but it's more difficult to forget your finger.

Fingerprint technology is very convenient, but not all that secure (we leave fingerprints everywhere that can be lifted and duplicated). That's why the KM finger vein technology is great, it's the perfect mesh of convenience and security.
