Thats a bunch of BS, that one one of the key selling points when I argued that the cost of the W2400's was too high. I was told DTB would allow you to merge wf documents and print them as one document!

1) Are you using pdf's? if so there is always Adobe Pro, however the cost is high.
2)Download FREE trial of DTB(full version) for trial, see if that works.

Someone mentioned on the p4p the other day that batch printing with the web client was a snap. I'll try and find it for you. Please let ne know what files types you are using?

Have you called Eric at Paradigm, he may have an answer and I think Ratio has PM.
to batch plot on the embedded controller - you can use webprint for TIFF and PLT files ONLY.

You can batch PDF's with DTB lite if a FULL version of Abobe is loaded on the same workstation as DTB, or if using DTB pro.

You can drag PDF's directly into the print driver (however, if you need 3 sets, drag 3 times...)

You can load KIP request ( a free download from kipusa.com) on the customers workstation, and use that, pointed to the TCP IP address of the Ricoh... (NOT RECOMMENDED!!!)
Best set up for batch printing is w/ external controller, Plot Client WIN and PS, DWG licenses. Processes drawings in 30 seconds rather than 3 minutes, and is versatile for todays customer requirements, ie: printing out bid sets from electronic files off CD's, e-mail or websites. Use the Ricoh Scanner Option for direct network scanning.
I am having the same issues when trying to batch print PDF's. I downloaded DTB lite and tried that as well. You can drag the files and create a new document, but the embedded controller is processing the smallest file size first. By doing this, the files are then printed out of sequence. Not acceptable, the beauty of the embedded controller was to make this machine easy to use for the average user.
Even DTB for someone that is not totally computer literate is confusing at times. I also tried the PDF direct print out of DTB, same thing happened. Open to suggestions at this point, upgrading this particular account to PB is not an option.
