When I was at RBS Boston we had a number of them in the field. I don't think we sold any in the two+ years that I was there. They were a DMS appliance. Web based interface.

From my experience they were a pain to support, very proprietary, and very difficult to migrate to another DMS. I would NOT recommend selling them, at least not to a customer that you like and want to keep.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Art, I haven't looked at those two, but I have looked at a lot of different options. The part that interests me about efilecabinet is that it looks fairly simple and doesn't require a big investment or a lot of training.

I'm interested in who out there is selling something and at what rate...seems like for the last 10 years everyone has been calling themselves Document Management Specialists and at least in our demographic I don't know of anyone who is really selling anything.

I'd love to hear success stories and what is working from someone who has them.

Thanks!
I do know that with intellinetics you can get a base cost of $45 per month and includes "x" amount of scans. I've seen it work and it's pretty simple and straight forward. I have not sold one yet because our company is stuck on MS sharepoint which is not a document management system, but that's what we sell (and I don't sell much of it).

Doculex has something also in this price range. I'd like to hear from others on this as well!
