ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 21—By enhancing the accuracy and quality of scanned images, Kodak helps E-BizDocs deliver more effective document archiving for its customers. A new member of Kodak’s Document Conversion Center program (DCC), E-BizDocs provides its document solutions to government agencies, legal firms and healthcare organizations.

“One of the benefits of participating in our Document Conversion Center program is that it allows service bureaus, like E-BizDocs, to enhance their capabilities and efficiencies by utilizing the latest versions of our high performance technology and software, which in turn helps reduce their costs and adds margin to their bottom line. We are sensitive to the competitive nature of their business and the DCC program provides a special discount for those companies using our production scanners and software in a services manner,” said Todd Leveque, Channel Sales Director, Document Imaging, Business Solutions and Services, Kodak. “These advanced technologies, combined with strategic pricing, can immediately improve a business’s return on investment.”

Kodak’s DCC program enables service bureaus to improve efficiency and lower costs, with performance imaging capabilities driven by its portfolio of hardware, software, and industry-leading KODAK Service and Support. Kodak’s Perfect Page Image Processing Technology delivers enhanced image clarity, decreases user errors, and increases the usability of scanned documents.

E-BizDocs increases the productivity of retrieving specific information from archived records for businesses, as well as local and state government agencies. A focus on delivering high image quality helps E-BizDocs enable advanced features, like optical character recognition (OCR), and produce fully searchable documents. E-BizDocs uses KODAK i780 Scanners for rapidly processing documents at speeds of up to 130 pages per minute and image quality of 300 dots per inch (dpi).

“Government agencies need to quickly locate files in their archived records,” said Howard Gross, President of E-BizDocs. “Being a member of Kodak’s DCC program helps us provide our customers with significant valuable savings, from decreased processing time to lowered storage costs.”

In addition to its projects and achievements in document imaging, E-BizDocs also serves as a respected organization that employs physically challenged and disabled individuals, including U.S. veterans. The company is a member of the New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc., the New York State Rehabilitation Association and New York Health Information Management Association, and services New York State Agencies such as the Office of Mental Health and the Education Department as well as private sector companies like The Ayco and Price Chopper.
