DPCI, a provider of integrated technology solutions for organizations that need to publish content to Web, print, and mobile channels, today announced that it has partnered with OpenKM to deliver open source document and records management solutions. OpenKM is a rapidly emerging leader in robust yet reasonably-priced open source document and records management technology. The company's flagship product, OpenKM, allows customers to scan, index, semantically enrich, and organize a wide variety of documents that organizations need to preserve.

DPCI and OpenKM have been collaborating on several projects over the six months with great success. "Continuing our emphasis on delivering integrated open source solutions to our customers, we sought a partnership with a reliable, transparent, and easy-to-work with vendor in the space that would do high quality work," stated Joe Bachana, DPCI's CEO and Founder. "After looking at a number of the well-known platforms in the market, our research brought us to OpenKM. Two projects later, we are blown away by their responsiveness, as well as the strength and flexibility of their platform. We're excited to help them build a market position in North America."

“DPCI approached us on behalf of two of its clients, and right away we were impressed with their dedication to not only helping them find the right solutions for their needs but also to making sure they fully understand the new application and assist with the organization-wide strategies they need to implement to take full advantage of it,” commented Mario Zules, President and CEO of OpenKM USA. “The team at DPCI has been right with their clients and us from the beginning and have continued to provide support, not only to help their clients understand OpenKM but also to help us understand their clients so that we can provide the best experience possible. It is due to this dedication that we are enthusiastic about partnering with DPCI, as we can be sure that anyone working with them is in good hands.”

OpenKM is an open source Enterprise Document Management System licensed under the GNU GPL. The technology is used to track, manage and store documents to reduce paper use and to preserve mission-critical materials in digital format. OpenKM consolidates the processes for uploading and retrieving documents, automates and simplifies daily work tasks and provides essential workflow and collaboration features in one central system. Further, given that it is an open source technology, OpenKM is inherently able to be integrated with other open source technologies as well as open-framework proprietary technologies.
