Document Management Software Facilitates Sharing Across Locations

FAIRFIELD , N.J.—March 22, 2006—Document imaging company Kyocera Mita America has unveiled KYOcapture version 4.5, powered by AutoStore. The software is an upgraded version of the KYOcapture server-based document capture workflow solution, according to the company.

Version 4.5 enables Kyocera multi-functional products to capture, process and route paper or electronic documents to multiple locations and document management systems.

As open-architecture middleware, KYOcapture integrates with document management systems as a portal through which documents travel. It enables businesses to realize efficiencies in document workflow, the company claims, as well as cost savings.

Version 4.5 features basic image management, encryption, PDF conversion, watermarking, workflow tracking and various route components. It is compatible with the following Kyocera Mita MFPs: KM-2630, KM-3035, KM- 4035, KM-5035, KM-6030, and KM-8030. Additional Kyocera MFPs can be connected using Poll Directory or SMTP capture components.
