Copies exiting problem?

One of my techs has advised me that the 240W is extremely sensitive if not leveled properly thus resulting in copies not exiting and stacking correctly. I have heard no complaints from the field but I know that my demo unit is fine now that he has leveled it. Just a thought.

We had this problem on the first system that we had set up in our demo room. After panicking for an hour or so (the client was on his way in for a demo) we found that on of the legs on the system was not seated properly in the hole in the roll feeder causing the system to be unlevel. According to my service manager, it is very hard to see this mistake if you are not looking for it.

Both our 240W in the demo Room and the one I sold are doing the same thing -- They are both level front-to-back and left-to-right.

I can assure you, it’s not a level problem. It’s a poor design. I’ve made guides out of the cardboard corner packing you receive with equipment and attached to the back of the roll feed. Works great, however, it won’t stack the 20 sheets anyway. And why does Ricoh want you to BEND OVER to get your copies when you can get 25 sheets stacked neatly standing up???

The original copy catch tray designed for the 470 works great on the 240 and eliminates copies exiting issue......
