Nextimage Tip: Boost Efficiency with Batch Scanning

Can you imagine scanning over 1000 E-size drawings in one hour?  Scanning expert Jerry Gautereaux advises that the best way to keep up with an incredibly fast scanner like the HD Ultra X is by using the Batch scanning mode in Nextimage 5. "You don't have to press 'scan' every time you feed the scanner with a new original when processing batches of documents. The batch scanning feature of Nextimage does it for you," comments Gautereaux. "Batch scanning mode is the fastest way to get you where you need to be."

How it's Done In the Nextimage scanning application, choose one of the convenient presets like "Color CAD and Map" or a custom setting. Then click on the Batch mode and start feeding the scanner one page after another. No additional software interaction is required until you are finished. The Batch feature lets users add pages to a single or multipage PDF or TIFF. Users can also auto-name each page.
