Sabine County Treasurer Tricia Jacks told the commissioners the contract for the five county copiers would expire in August and presented three proposals for consideration.

Texas Imaging Systems Representative Ronnie Hobbs had submitted two proposals. Each proposal would provide five digital copiers and provide all supplies except for paper, and allow the county a combined 22,000 copies per month with a per copy charge for copies exceeding that.

The 48-month lease would cost the county $600 per month. The second proposal was the same but would provide the County Clerk’s office a heavier duty copier since theirs is used the most for $635 per month.

The other proposal received from current provider Xerox would be a 48-month lease at $680.32 per month with limits set on each copier totaling 28,500 copies for all offices combined.

When commissioners asked Jacks if she had a recommendation, she recommended the second proposal from Texas Imaging Systems at $635 per month. The commissioners approved the recommendation unanimously.
