Just a note for getting in touch with your scanner customers.  The Microsoft decision to stop support for Windows 7 in January reminded me of several scanners that can run on Windows 7 and nothing newer.  Since Windows 7 is now over 10 years old, I understand the end of support, and empathize with people that have not yet transitioned to 10.

Some of the scanners that are going to be losing Operating System Support include the CX40, GX25, and GX42 scanners.  Windows 8 still supports the CI24 and CI40, but they cannot move to Windows 10.

The Colortrac scanners will continue to operate on the older PCs running Windows operating systems.  There is a great talk track to offer an upgrade for the scanner.  I am certain my Dealer Community can come up with some plans that make perfect sense.  Please let me know if I can help in any way.

From the Microsoft Support site;

After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates and support for PCs with Windows 7. If you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will still work, but it may become more vulnerable to security risks.
