I am having troubles with fusing on 110# stock. It is in specs, and worked fine for the first two months, but it is no longer fusing well. ? One thing noted is that 110# is rated for simplex and up to 90# for duplex. Customer is using the 110# manual duplexed. I am wondering if the paper going through the first time, does something happen to the finish or characteristic of the paper to make the second pass not bond? I assumed that duplex max spec of 90# simply meant auto duplex and the the heavier paper would have to use manual duplex. Anybody have insight into this for me?

I'm not sure if it's true on the CL4000, but on the CL7100 series, there is a paper type selection called Plain Paper Duplex Backside that you must choose when performing that kind of task. I saw it in the manual and it listed it in the RPCS driver. Might make a difference??
