Ubeo Business Service, a printing and electronic document management company, announced Monday that it has acquired two companies, expanding its footprint in Texas.

Co-headquartered in Austin and San Antonio, Ubeo provides printer, copier and office equipment sales and services. The company, founded in 2004, employs roughly 1,000 people, with 337 in Austin and San Antonio.

Ubeo said Monday it has acquired San Antonio-based PrintRX and Corpus Christi-based Braswell Office Systems. The two companies will continue operating under their existing names and maintain their leadership and employees.

The company did not disclose how many employees were added with the acquisitions.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

“We are proud to have the PrintRX and Braswell companies join the Ubeo Business Services brand and are humbled to continue their tradition of service to these South Texas and Gulf Coast communities,” Ubeo CEO Jim Sheffield said in a written statement. “These cultures fit with our commitment to doing the best thing for our customers every time. We do what is right, not what is easy.”

In a news release, the company said the acquisition will continue the trajectory of growth for Ubeo.

In January, the company acquired South Texas office equipment dealer Core Business Solutions and its subsidiary, Copyzone.

The acquisition added to Ubeo’s operations in Central Texas, North Texas, East Texas, California and Louisiana.

New York-based private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners acquired Ubeo in May 2018.

Ubeo’s 2018 revenue grew three times from the year prior, according to the company.
