06/06/2012

Capita's document solutions business has today launched a unique offering that, for the first time, provides organisations with the ability to source all of their document related needs from a single supplier. From the mail room through the back office and out to the continuous growth in customer communication via e-delivery, Capita's suite of innovative document related services represents the only comprehensive end-to-end solution on the market.

The company has seamlessly integrated consulting, managed print services, hybrid mail, bulk transactional print and mail, print room, SMS, email, customer self-service, design, data analytics, scanning, archive, and retrieval, all backed by the security and stability that only a FTSE 100 company can provide. Topping off the benefits to clients is comprehensive management information and associated governance across the entire solution set.

David Lockie, a divisional managing director at Capita, said: "Speaking to existing customers and listening to the general market there is an increasing need for companies to realise the cost savings, efficiency gains and service delivery improvements that a single-source of supply can provide. Faced with the most challenging economic and social conditions in decades, customers require the scope, flexibility, security and innovation only available through a company like Capita. Our unique offering delivers the quick wins and underlying foundation needed to transform the full spectrum of document related services for both public and private sector organisations.

"We are currently working with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council to provide a complete end-to-end solution, from document creation and storage to data analysis and distribution. We are looking to achieve around 17% reduction in total print costs for the council while taking a holistic approach to their print requirements. These requirements include general office, bulk printing and mailing in an all-in-one solution. We look forward to working with the council over the next 12 months and will be monitoring the benefits achieved very closely."

Capita's document services solutions meet the highest ICT security regulations for data management and security, providing piece of mind for customers and the people who use its services.
