The new Canon imageCLASS models boast print and copy speeds of up to 23 pages-per-minute (ppm) for letter-sized output, and deliver first print and copy pages in approximately nine seconds. Both models come equipped with a 250-sheet front-loading paper cassette. The devices are also capable of copying up to 8.5 inches x 14 inches (legal) from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or letter-sized using the platen glass or ADF. For optimal speed when printing and scanning, the new imageCLASS models provide a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interfacei. The imageCLASS MF4370dn multifunction printer comes with a built-in Ethernet port for network printing, PC faxing and scanning.

“The new Canon imageCLASS models will give small businesses and home offices quick and convenient access to office functions to help them be successful,” said Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. “The imageCLASS MF4350d and imageCLASS MF4370dn multifunction printers are affordable and practical solutions for entrepreneurs and small business owners alike.”

The Canon imageCLASS MF4350d and the imageCLASS MF4370dn multifunction printers provide duplex output capabilities for printing, copying and receiving faxes. With this duplexing capability, customers will be able to significantly reduce paper consumption by duplex printing documents from a PC, or on incoming faxes. Through the devices’ 35-sheet ADF, each unit can also copy singled-side documents and output double-sided pages for a more streamlined office workflow.

The new imageCLASS models also capture scans in 24-bit color at an interpolated resolution of up to 9600 dots-per-inch (dpi) through the ADF or platen glass. The new devices use an up to 33.6 Kbps Super G3 faxii for the rapid transmission of facsimile communications.

Each model incorporates the Canon Single Cartridge System, which combines the toner, drum and development unit in one easy-to-replace cartridge, resulting in excellent image quality retention and eliminating the complication and warehousing of separate toner and drum consumables.

The imageCLASS MF4350d and MF4370dn multifunction printers meet the ENERGY STAR guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE). Canon is a long-time ENERGY STAR partner, and is a strong advocate of educating consumer regarding energy-efficient products through its product labeling and environmental programs.

The imageCLASS MF4350d and MF4370dn multifunction printers are scheduled to be available starting September 22nd through retailers at manufacturer’s suggested price of $249 and $299 respectively.
