Canon sweeps prestigious 2017 BLI awards for wide format printers
Canon wins BLI’s coveted 2017 Wide Format Printer Line of the Year award for its outstanding reliability, superb user experience, efficiency-boosting innovations, and exceptional image quality.
Adding several new trophies to its shelves, Canon swept the Wide Format category of the prestigious BLI Pick awards for 2017. The company took home the coveted Wide Format Printer Line of the Year award, which recognized the Canon imagePROGRAF range for its overall excellence, as well as in individual awards for Outstanding Professional Photo and Fine Art Wide-Format Printer, and Outstanding Poster and Indoor Signage Wide-Format Printer.
“As proof of their quality, every Canon wide-format model tested in the past year has earned BLI’s Highly Recommended rating,” adds Marlene Orr, Director of Office Equipment Product Analysis at BLI.
The Pick awards are considered the industry standard. Presented by the Buyers Laboratory LLC (or BLI), they’re based on a months-long battery of exhaustive lab tests that measure durability, efficiency, innovation and excellence. Canon won the award for outstanding reliability across all devices tested, superb user experience, efficiency-boosting innovations and—naturally—out-of-the-park results in image quality.
