Canon PrismaSync

Thanks Vince. Our SE was on vacation and I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Customer decided to keep the fiery since they know it already and also know that they lose the CFS promos for the lease etc. if they don't place the order before the 30th.

    I prefer the Fiery myself. But those who love the Prisma Sync really love it. I think they must have had an OCE previously.

That's the feedback I've been getting from dealers. I know the fiery but not the prisma so I'm biased a little bit.

Jason: What's your honest opinion on the C700? I saw a live demo on it and wasn't impressed. It was designed to compete with the bizhub PRESS C1060/C1070 which Canon sorely needed, but unfortunately it's way overpriced. The quality of the print was pretty good, however the registration was way off. Canon only seems to sell them when Konica Minolta isn't in the deal.

Czech, we are fairly new to production but my client was not overly impressed but they would not even consider anything but the canon and also had no intention of spending anymore money. I like the machine and think it does fill their void but you are correct that the registration is not on point with other machines.

Client was pretty much at a point they wanted it as cheap as possible and were willing to sacrifice some quality to keep the price low. Not my ideal client but we held good margins on the service and the machine so we will have to wait and see how it all goes.
