Canon new options for production print

Launched the “image inspection unit” and the “image sensing unit”

Image sensing unit automatically adjusts and corrects image position and color quality based on established setting
- Corrects color and image position of front and back printed media
  according to predetermined job settings
- Can be utilized with spectroscopic sensor and contact image sensor
- Correct density of printed media in real time
- Possible MSRP of $22,800

Image inspection unit visually inspects each document automatically ejects and reprints any errors during the job

Reads entire surface of the printed media with a contact image sensor
Identifies defects, including color loss, stains, scratches and print
misalignment
Images as small as 0.2mm in diameter can be detected
User has ability to set the inspection criteria
Possible MSRP of $26,600

Both available for imagePRESS C10010VP and C9010VP series of production color laser systems
Goal is to reduce manual time and associated labor costs with quality checking print jobs
