WILLEMSTAD – Canon U.S.A., Inc. Latin America Group, a leader in digital imaging solutions, has added three new series  of products to its lineup: The imagePRESS C10000VP, imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8500 and imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500 series.

Designed specifically for demanding production environments and with monthly duty cycle of up to 1.5 million impressions, the imagePRESS C10000VP use dual fixing technology to maintain rated speeds on supported media weights.

This digital-color-production printer addresses the demand for the flexibility of digital output that meets offset print quality and color consistency requirements. Also, its inline spectrophotometric sensors and unique Gloss Optimization technology to help match gloss levels of the printed image to the substrate it is printed on.

On the other hand, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8500 and imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500 Series were designed to deliver stable output, high productivity and an intuitive experience, for demanding production environments at commercial printers, in-plants, transaction and direct mail service providers alike. These devices offer high performance and quality black-and-white impressions.

Both products are first to feature the Third Generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform. This innovation brings added value in aspects such as safety, cost and device management, quality and reliability, sustainability and efficiency. It also maximizes flexibility and scalability to grow with customer needs.

The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8500 and imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500 have an intuitive user interface, a newly designed flat touch screen operations panel includes a larger display and new functions to improve usability.

When authentication is activated, users can access My ADVANCE features to create a personalized experience tailored to their preferences for the display, settings and many frequently used functions.

These models feature a set of standard and optional security capabilities to help limit access to sensitive information. Building upon Canon’s prior security features and solutions, the Third Generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE models now include a standard Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Encryption function with FIPS140-2 validation, automatically encrypting data stored on the main unit’s HDD, thereby helping to restrict access to data which can limit data leaks from occurring.

“We keep growing our solutions portfolio with options designed to simplify workflows and help enterprises in finding flexible, mobile solutions,” says Mick Takagi, Director, BISG Marketing, Latin America Group, Canon.

With advanced user authentication standard in all Third Generation imageRUNNER and imagePRESS models, organizations can manage print and document costs by controlling employees’ access and usage. These new models can also integrate virtually seamlessly with optional uniFLOW software, Canon’s comprehensive and scalable solution software platform for device, output management and smart scanning solutions

All Canon solutions are designed to help support customers’ sustainability goals. The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8500/6500 Series models are Energy Star® certified and rated EPEAT® Gold.
