Bytes Document Solutions launches new Dom-Joly-style film featuring "Printerman"

Builds on the success of its I Hate Printers campaign

Sep 10, 2012 (Menafn - M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Following the internet success of the four-part Printer Smash Up video launched by the Xerox Managed Print Specialist on Friday 13th April this year, Bytes Document Solutions unveils another tongue-in-cheek video aimed at capturing the imagination of the IT industry.

Now LIVE at www.ihateprinters.co.uk , the two minute film features Printerman, a new character who, on 10th August 2012, was filmed undercover causing havoc at some of Londons busiest hot spots.

Darren Spence, Managing Director of Bytes Document Solutions and the brains behind the idea explained, For years now weve been approached by companies telling us of unexplained paper jams, toner problems and strange error messages associated with their printer fleets. We've had a team of investigators looking into the root of the problems and have deemed Printerman to be the cause. He's everywhere. This year alone his victims have included personal assistants, IT professionals, executives, sales & marketing people and H.R. people. We felt it was our duty to expose the antics of Printerman so office workers can unite in ridding the Country of such a common menace. Working with Xerox weve come up with a Managed Print Service designed to protect organisations from ever falling victim of Printerman. It works, so if office workers want to protect themselves, they must get in touch.

The film, which almost didn't happen due to the abundance of police enforcement officers on the day of filming, is now live on the website.
