BTA Southeast to Host Spring Break

March 24-25 in Orlando, Florida

 

BTA member dealers receive 2-for-1 registration;

can use $150/$250 discount codes received with membership

 

Kansas City, MO — The Business Technology Association’s (BTA’s; www.bta.org) annual Spring Break event (www.bta.org/BTAOrlando), hosted by BTA Southeast, will be held March 24-25 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida. Open to dealers from across the country, the event will feature a special keynote address presented by a surprise guest speaker to be announced on-site; seven additional educational sessions led by industry leaders; time to network with peers and 40 exhibiting sponsors, including a welcoming reception; and an afternoon/evening trip to the Disney theme park of your choice: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom.

Spring Break will begin at 7 a.m. on Friday, March 24, with breakfast, followed by opening comments at 8:30 a.m. The special keynote address and the first two educational sessions will follow: “Industry Update,” led by Bob Goldberg, general counsel, BTA; and “Reducing Parts COGS,” led by Jack Duncan, director of the REACH Leadership Academy, BEI Services.

Lunch will be served after Duncan’s session, followed by two more educational sessions: “Turkeys & Eagles Both Have Feathers,” led by Gil Cargill, owner, Cargill Consulting Group Inc.; and “Building a Major Account Strategy,” led by Larry Levine, social sales strategist and co-founder, Social Sales Academy.

After the educational sessions, a welcoming reception will be held from 5 until 7 p.m., giving attendees time to network with peers and exhibiting sponsors. Breaks between sessions on both days will also give attendees additional networking time.

The second day of Spring Break will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, with a continental breakfast, followed by the final three educational sessions: “The Future of Mobile Printing,” led by Mark Hart, director of business development, Access Control Devices Inc. (ACDI); “Marketing & Sales — You Need Both to Compete Today,” led by Lindsay Kelley, president and co-founder, Prospect Builder; and “Adjacent Opportunities,” led by Ed McLaughlin, vice chairman, Innovolt, and CEO, Valderus.

Closing comments and exhibitor prize drawings will be held from 11:15 to 11:30 a.m. Dealers can also enter the BTA Events Sweepstakes during Spring Break.

From 2 p.m. until close, attendees will be able to visit Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom.

BTA members receive 2-for-1 registration to Spring Break. BTA member dealer registration (with a Disney theme park ticket) is $199, which includes the Friday and Saturday educational sessions; Friday breakfast, lunch and welcoming reception; Saturday continental breakfast; and a Disney theme park ticket to use Saturday afternoon. Non-member registration with a Disney ticket is $249.
