AUXILIO Earns Expanded Managed Print Services Contract with Sutter Health Adding Sutter Health East Bay Region

MISSION VIEJO, CA, United States, via ETELIGIS INC., 11/12/2014 - - Auxilio, Inc.(http://www.auxilioinc.com/) (OTCQB: AUXO), the nations leading Managed Print Services (MPS) company and provider of Information Risk and Security Services for the healthcare industry announces that they have added Printer Fleet Security Service to their growing portfolio of products and services. This service protects organizations printer fleets, an increasing entry source for hackers into a hospitals network.

A current Managed Print Services (MPS) customer located on the east coast will pilot the program starting in December 2014, with an initial vulnerability assessment of its current print/copier fleet environment.

Multi-function printers (MFP) that are set up with factory default settings and are connected to the network are vulnerable prey for hackers seeking access to the network. Typically these devices are not monitored for risk and are simple entry pointsfor malicious events and discovery of IP addresses found on the network as mentioned recently by Norse for a SANS Institute report (http://www.norse-corp.com/HealthcareReport2014.html) on cybersecurity.

Print/copy devices enable access to key computing resources, and are often directly placed on the hospital network and touch some of the most sensitive data within the organization. At the same time, they are highly configurable and even some of the slightest configuration changes can put the business under significant security risk, said Mark Dressel, Executive Vice President Professional Services, Auxilio.

Recognizing that managing the security of a printer/copier fleet is critical to ensuring the overall security profile within an entire healthcare organization. Auxilio measures the maturity level of the hospital printer/copier fleet by benchmarking against four key areas; access safeguards, data protection, fleet availability and attack susceptibility. This provides real value by using representative sampling techniques to ensure findings accurately reflect a comprehensive evaluation and enable Auxilio to demonstrate the impact of their security services on information risk management.

Auxilios Printer Fleet Security Service has three programs to choose from; Development of Processes, On-going Monitoring or a full-service Managed Service program for a hospitals printer/copier fleet. The Managed Service program provides ongoing monitoring, managing and remediation of identified security issues found on devices connected to a hospitals network. This new advisory and recurring services business is expected to provide incremental growth from Auxilios customer base.

"Print/copy device security is like the "Common Flu" of most technical environments. Though this issue has been around forever and there are preventive measures available to reduce the high risks they present, these steps are often forgotten or pushed aside for more low risk, high profile "Ebola" like security activities. Our new PrinterFleet Security program aims to be the "Flu shot" for this high risk issue; delivering a simple proactive solution that can be implemented in a short time frame, said Mike Gentile, Executive Vice President Security and Innovation.
