Altec Products, Inc., a tenured mid-market ISV and fifteen year expert in integrated document management and workflow solutions, announced today their company expansion with the addition of new employees in sales, technical support and professional services. Altec operates Sales, Marketing and Professional Services out of the corporate office in Laguna Hills, CA. and Product Development in Tacoma, WA. Both offices have increased staff to meet the growing needs of new license contracts, sustained customer retention due to doc-link 3.0 functionality and increased partner synergy.

With many industries still thriving despite the US recession, Altec is experiencing a surge in document management interest in high growth markets such as hospitality, health care and distribution. High transaction companies are realizing the importance of integrated productivity tools like doc-link. As a powerful extension of the ERP solution, doc-link interfaces with the business systems to bring control and mobility to existing workflow and effectively eliminate antiquated filing systems and manual processes.

Even customers who invest in doc-link and decide to switch their ERP application (for example, a transition to Oracle) can still migrate without losing doc-link. Lori Corbino, Customer Care Manager for Altec explains, “Customers don’t have to abandon the investment they have made in our solution. We migrate with them and offer our support and services along the way.”

Another reason for Altec’s growth is the new functionality with doc-link version 3.0 as well as software use expansion from accounting applications to human resources, order entry and purchasing. Scalable from a single application to an entire enterprise, doc-link provides endless capabilities to electronically capture documents and automate business processes within any department and any process.

Kevin Dudevoir, Director of Sales at Altec states, “Our focus has been to educate our Partners on the value that document visibility can bring to an organization. This strategy has been successful in 2013, and the number of resulting new license contracts has been outstanding.”

One such partner is Microsoft Dynamics Partner AIM Technologies. Louis Hoerner, Senior Consultant for AIM claims, “Last quarter, we worked very closely with our Altec Sales Director and now see a huge value in adding doc-link to our portfolio of solutions to help our clients work smarter and leaner.”

To help drive more partner synergy and manage doc-link interest, Altec has hired Scott Hall as the new Sales Director in the Northwest region. Hall, a valuable new member of the team, brings over 15 years of sales and document management experience.

Jessica Quintanilla, Director of Professional Services at Altec states, “In order to sustain our high standards of customer responsiveness, we have hired additional Project Managers, Implementation Analysts and Consultants. We hope to enhance the doc-link customer experience in all aspects from pre-sales to implementation to product support.”
