I have a 6513 out in the field for over a year. Everything is working fine, except, one user just bought a new PC with, of course, XP. All programs work fine except Print Shop version 12. When she goes in and tells it to print more than one, it only prints one. Even when you set the default settings in the print driver to more than one, it only prints one. To get ten prints, she has to send the job 10 times. Again, this is only in Print Shop 12. All else works fine. Any ideas out there? Also, the Win2000 people have no problem with Print Shop 12. Just the XP.

Here's a workaround I just found on the web site...

Problem: Print Shop® 12 Prints Only One Copy in Windows NT® or Windows® 2000/XP
On a system running Windows NT® or Windows® 2000/XP, after selecting to print two or more copies of a project in Print Shop® 12, only one copy is printed. This issue generally occurs when printing to a network printer. Consult the remainder of this article for additional information and a procedure.
Printing to a local printer—one connected directly to the computer where Print Shop® 12 is installed—rather than a network printer should allow more than one copy of the project to print. Currently, there is no solution to this issue when printing to a network printer.

Workaround for Some Project Types

For some project types including brochures, certificates, fax covers, letterheads, newsletters and posters, the following workaround is available.

NOTE: These instructions assume that the project is a single-page project.

In Print Shop® 12, open the project you want to print multiple copies of.

Click Edit from the menu bar and click Select All. This will select all of the objects on the project.

Click Edit and click Copy.

Click on File and click New Project. The project picker will open.

Click on Newsletter and click Next.

Select the same orientation (Tall or Wide) used in the original project.

Click once in the empty box next to Double-Sided and click Finish. The blank new project will appear in the design desk.

Click Edit from the menu bar and click Paste. This will copy all of the objects that were selected in Step 2 from the original project to the new project.

In the bottom-left corner of the Design Desk, click the next page button (resembles an triangle) that appears to the right of 1 of 1. The Add Pages window will appear.

Enter 1 in the "Number of pages to add" field.

Verify that "After Current Page" and "Add Blank Page" are both selected and click OK.

Click on File from the menu bar and click Print. The Print dialog box will appear.

Verify that the correct printer is selected.

NOTE: If the printer includes a Duplex printing option, click the Properties button in the Print window. Locate the DUPLEX setting (typically found under the Print tab) and set its value to OFF.

Verify that the box for Double-Sided is checked.

Select the number of copies to be printed.

Click Print.

NOTE: Complete the double-sided print wizard if prompted to do so. The double-sided print wizard must be completed to print the project. After completing the double-sided print wizard, printing will automatically begin.

After all copies have been printed and the prompt to re-insert the stack to print the other side appears, click Cancel.
