650 very slow in mixed size mode!!

I tested a job on our 650 and we have the same type of time about 4 to 5 minutes for a stack of 54 origianls, single sided to make one copy.

Can anyone else help?

I just tested a 550 in our refurb shop, 40 originals, alternating 8.5x14 and 8.5x11 through the set. I got 13 originals per minute through it (a shade over three minutes).
I took the same originals to a 1055 and got 20 originals per minute (a shade over two minutes to complete). Interesting to note here also n the 1055 that although the originals were in the DF exit, there were stil 5 or so copies that had not exited the machine.

Thanks Lee for your reply some time ago. I appreciate your checking the speed. I got around 10 cpm so maybe how the originals are mixed is a determining factor. The 1055, 1060, 1070 are faster at about 30 cpm I found. Still trying to get the deal as they are shopping around still!
