Just did a 480W demo and noticed the following:

When you make a copy using APS, the 480W will not scan and copy unless the drawing is an exact size such as A,B,C,D,E. In order to scan a document that is not standard, you have to pick the paper width and then make copy. (Tech services confirmed that this is the way it is supposed to be.) Anyone know anything different as this seems pretty stupid.

Secondly, on the old 470W, you could do sets and then the copier would give you the option to copy more of the same set by pushing the start button. After the machine reset, you would have to rescan. The 480W does NOT give you this option. If you wanted additional sets, you would need to rescan. Is there something I am missing or is this all the 480W can do?

Thanks.

Is "Wide Scan" available on the 240W? Also, does anyone know of any potential firmware upgrade that would allow any of models to APS for non-standard sizes? I have a customer that absolutely hates having to select the paper size and switch back and forth between all the sizes of drawings that they may be copying. When it comes time to upgrade, I think that they would look to another manufacturer that can provide this function.
I would be interested in knowing this as well. As far as additional copies on the 240w. That is a setting that has to be changed by the tech during setup. I know this because one of my demo models is set that way to simply select Start to print what was scanned in. Wallin, if you need to know how to do it, I can find out from my techs.
