We have a customer with a Savin MPC305.  This medical office wants to print from an android tablet.  I have downloaded the Smart Device Print app on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro SMP-900 and they can print from web pages.  However, when they try to print patient data from their secure site (https).  The app just hangs and you have to restart the tablet.

The hotline first told me that SSL was not supported and that they could escalate to "solutions" to see if they could rework the app.  "Solutions" said I don't think you can print web pages...

Can anyone help with this?

This sounds really basic, but I wonder if Google Cloud Print would work.  Ricoh just launched their app for Google Cloud Print, & this is one of the compatible models.  It isn't available in the Play Store but rather has to be loaded into the machine.  I use Google Cloud Print all the time to print web pages on older Ricoh gear, although it does use Chrome running on my desktop to process the job.  The Google Cloud Print app running on the machine would eliminate that need, so I wonder if it might work.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.  I've been busy working on other things so I'm just now able to get back to this.  I think I'm going to explore the Google Cloud Print option as txeagle mentioned (thanks).  I have set up the app once before and like the way it works.  My plan is to get it working in our office with the same model and print from my Android phone from their site (If they will give me login information) and if it works hopefully I can roll that out.
