Konica Minolta installs first C1085 at Bell and Bain

FULL STORY           Konica Minolta installed the brand new C1085, which is part of the new C1100 series, at Bell and Bain, a printing and binding specialist based in Glasgow.
Bell & Bain, which was founded in 1831, is one of the oldest established printing companies still in existence in Scotland specialising in the printing and binding of business, educational, financial, medical, scientific and religious books and learned journals.
Designed specifically for graphic communication providers, central reprographic departments and anyone who needs to cope with high demands. The bizhub PRESS C1100 and C1085 offer outstanding performance, with increased print quality and productivity that again demonstrates Konica Minolta's ability to innovate technology to drive new market opportunities. With printing speeds of 100ppm and 85ppm, the bizhub PRESS C1100 and C1085 are the fastest of Konica Minolta's colour production printers.
The Bizhub Press C1100 series was recently launched in Manchester as part of the ‘Enable your business’ roadshow. The roadshow will be continuing around the UK with the next event taking place in Bristol on 11 September.
Stephen Docherty, managing director at Bell and Bain commented, ‘We have always had a strong commitment to process and product quality and also investing in the future of our business so it was an easy decision for us to purchase the C1085 from Konica Minolta, specifically we were impressed with the colour consistency, uptime and performance that it offered us.’
‘In a fast moving and changing market, digital press technology needs to be able to cope with high demands and multiple jobs whatever the nature of their complexity. With the bizhub PRESS C1100 and C1085, we take the next step in the colour production printer market after the great success of our first mid production system. To that end, we are delighted to announce the first installation of the C1085 with our customer Bell and Bain in Glasgow and we will continue to support them with the implementation to help enable a clear return on investment,’ said Mark Hinder, market development manager for Konica Minolta.
