Why does Ricoh take away the LCT option for the 3800CMF? I know that when Printer only configurations are used it is available. It seems crazy to claim 200k per month volume w/ 1500 sheet paper supply (oh, don't forget the 100 sheet bypass).

Any ideas?

Have you seen how tall the unit is with an extra paper source? We were joking with one of our clients who upgraded their 38 DT2 version to a copier, that they'd have to get a stool to stand on to make copies! Maybe it's just too big for those diminutive engineers!?

Jim,

Have you tried moving the shelf down? The scanner sits on an adjustable shelf on the CMF stand that we have been able to move WAY down low to make it sit at a nice height....even for short people. (My 10 year old can make a copy on it just fine)
