Is that a lead generating service where they send the same RFQ to 4-5 dealers in the area?  We've used BuyerZone in the past, but dropped it last year after we did a cost analysis on the cost of leads compared to profit made from those deals.

We found that the lead generating services weren't worth the hassle. You're constantly competing for attention with 4-5 other vendors for what's usually a low margin deal with decision makers or influencers who are too lazy, too cheap, or too bothered to reach out to any nearby dealer.  At least half of the leads we received each month were a sunk cost: either leads who ended up buying a $500 printer from Staples, or simply never return your calls and emails.

I think most people simply don't realize what they're getting into when they fill out those online forms, and are overwhelmed by the number of emails and phone calls coming in simultaneously.

We took the money allocated for those leads and moved toward pay-per-click ads driving leads directly toward our company page rather than paying for information sent to us and our competition.
