2018d Fax Option Address Book

I set up a 2018d fax option for a customer, and thought I understood how to program the address book, but need some help. Under key op tools you can program fax numbers. When I entered the name and numbers, they did not show up in the address book or print off for labels. I am missing a step somewhere, but need some input. I have read the manuals but they do not explain how to input the name & number, or do they? But where?

I have been hung up on this too. The secret is you are missing one extra "OK" to program the info.
If you follow the step by step in the manual you will see at the end it says something like "press OK" Even tho you already did that.
You have to OK each step then OK the record.
Or loan them a NIC, set up the addy book and remove the NIC.Just (almost) kidding about that part But over a network is so much easier.

Thanks for the input. They do have a NIC on the system. Didn't think of doing it that way. Their IT person sets up remotely, so I will be in touch with that person to help set up the address book. Thanks again.

Give this a try. After entering your fax number you press OK. Now you need to first press the "Previous Menu" key (left of the OK key) and then OK again - This is just to give you the option of assigning an e-mail address to the same key as well.
