2018 scan | Print4Pay Hotel

I have two 2018's w all in one kit (scan/fax/print) that say "updating destination list failed, update in scanner features" periodically. The customer can update the list by going to user tools. Why does the machine do this? Is it an issue of the PC being turned off at night, or left on, or is there something I've missed?

Could be several things. One that comes to mind is, are the PC’s using DHCP and being assigned different addresses then stored in the 2018?

Make sure you have a valid IP address in the scanner server setting, under Scanner in UP mode. Happens to all Ricoh equipment if it can't find the server. Switch ip adress off if you're not using the feature.

Are there any XP machines involved? Any kind of software firewall?
