I had a walk-in customer come in last week that I demoed the 1515MF to. I hadn't had any hands-on yet but how difficult could it be? Well, I push the duplex button to show 1:2 duplexing and it sent out the copy rather than scanning into memory to wait on the second side which is what I expected it to do. I haven't had a chance to look into it yet but wondered if anyone else has tried to duplex yet.

I'm guessing we need to add mamory but haven't checked that out yet.
No ridicule, just joking. Wink Thanks for your candor. And thanks for bringing this to our attention. I myself would assume that if it came with a duplex unit as standard that it wouldn't need any additional memory to duplex. But I guess you never know. I remember being terribly disappointed when I learned that the Aficio 200 was really a 15 copy per minute machine without the memory upgrade.

(Trepidation ... where would I be without google and dictionary.com ... thanks for helping me expand my limited U.P. vocabulary eh.)
MY self-esteem is too strong to let any of you guys get to me!!! I did notice that I typed Mamory instead of Memory. That may explain some of my problems...my head is in the wrong place.

I did find out the issue with the 1515 duplex. I was trying to take a two sided original, send it through the ADF, then turn the original over and send it through again. That's what you can't do. You can put it on the glass and flip it over and you can put two seperate originals in the ADF and get duplexed copies but don't use the ADF and expect the copier to "hold the image" waiting for the back side original.
