1075 doc feed jams | Print4Pay Hotel

hey my peeps,

1075 doc feeder with intermittent jams (I've never seen it do it, been to machine for this problem 5 times ) The smc report says MANY jams at 7505-01 Original Jam Count -04, which is called the "nip-in Sensor Check". Customer says document feeds in "about 2 inches" and then stops.
1 What is "nip-in sensor"

2 Anybody have any experience with this?

It is the skew correction sensor located between the sep roll and the entrance roll. Clean.

Open the DF, remove the two screws on either side of the plate where the paper enters the platen, LHS, and clean the optosensor and reflector plate.

thanks guys, I replaced all the one way bearings that drive the feed-in rollers and sep rollers, and the shafts they ride on, hope that got it.
