Not only are the less than ethical copier sales people in the world, there are just as bad Lease sales people. When these two parties collude together the customers best interests are never at the top of the list. You cannot assume that the good Lease sales rep you work with has the same personal value system as the competition. You cannot assume that the good lease company you work with has a good local sales rep. You cannot assume that at the end of the lease, the Lease sales person you...

I see these types of products making a serious impact on our business. From what I see from the video, I can't remember ever seeing a color laser that would be able to output documents that fast, especially with the envelope output. It's the tip of the iceberg with probably faster products to come down the road. Potential Users: Churches Colleges CRD's Print Shops Anyone else care to add to the list of potential markets?

Walk thru: Take a picture of each device (this helps jog the memory banks) Takes notes for all accessories or options on each device Find users for the device and ask them what type of media do they print onto (card stock, envelopes, ncr, bond paper, etc..) Print out a configuration list for each device Ask a user what they like most about the system and then ask what they dislike the most Ask a user what paper sizes they are printing or copying onto Anyone care to add anything else??

Here is the text from the email we got: Dear Dealer Principal Effective January 1, 2012, Ricoh will implement a price increase. Ricoh, Savin and Lanier equipment and accessories will reflect a 5% increase from the current dealer pricing and SRP prices, excluding A4 laser printers and Gel printers which will have no change. All supplies and parts will reflect a 3% increase without exception. This increase is due to the ongoing appreciation of the Japanese Yen. We have been faced with cost...

A deal like this could blow up in your face.... I'd sell them a new machine and it's all going to be on how you do your proposal. As fisher states your probably going to sacrifice profit on this one. Use only MSRP pricing for the new deal, they bought from you once, most likely they will do the same again. Charge for all of the extras like delivery, install, training, support. If you can get the 600 per month looks like you can get 13K for the new system. So, you take the list price and all...

Unfortunately NSI is not available on Canon's in the USA. They do work with Canon's in Europe, so they CAN work with Canon's but someone at Canon USA has made a "marketing decision" NOT to allow them access to the USA market. I do hate when the MFD manufacturer tries to over regulate the solutions that they want to work with their smart MFDs. With the release of UniFLOW's Advance Scanning module we feel that it will fill a lot of the space. I will say that we still need eCopy SSOP and their...

I hope to get to 2500 emails sent once a quarter a year from now. That would be 10,000 emails a year prospecting to new customer's As the message I send is very small with no pictures or web links, I do not get shot down by many web filters. Fax is an option. You can add 4 fax lines if needed. List price is $840 for single fax line. The MSRP maybe less compared to Kyo but it is not a Canon product nor caliber of the system. When Ed Schmid was running eCopy they had the best pre & post sales support in the industry. You could call an 800 # while onsite and get someone to answer the phone who actually knew the product better than you did. Those were the days when eCopy was a Canon only product. But Canon did not buy a controlling interest in eCopy so when their contract ran out, eCopy opened up to all copier manufacturers, and their support became poor, the rapid expansion overwhelmed them. Then the company decided to look at the bottom line and recanted. Now us salereps all look like smucks just...
