Re: I need a leasing company for a new customer

Old Glory ·
I have been very pleased with American Express. They have a New Business program...stipulations are that the maximum term is 36 months and the maximum funding is $25,000 and requires 2 down or one payment plus 10% security. There also is no Propoerty Tax for any deals under $25,000, 30 day NET plus 15 Day Grace period before late penalties, Buy-out to Return is less than sum of payments, and their end-of-lease terms are better than anything I've seen. 36 month FMV with -0- Down is .0271.

Re: Current Lease Rates

All this talk about rates looks at leasing only from a selfish point of view without regard to the commitment your customer will make based on your recommendation. You can't ignore rates but what about forced insurance, late fees and grace periods, renewal terms, buy-out options and expenses, whether there will be property Tax assessed and how accurate will be the assessment... For these reasons and more, I'm willing to have a slightly higher rate (.0271 - o Down - 36mo. FMV) with American...

As long as we keep going with whoever has "The low rate of the Month", leasing companies will continue to come up with what I call "alternative forms of revenue." As long as lease companies feel that we don't care about anything but low rates, they will continue to lower their rate with the intent of getting their profits back in new ways. How many of you know whether your lease company charges "rental" for days between the day a copier is delivered and the day the lease commences. Even...

Just in the last two weeks we have had one ship-out where the ARDF and Cabinet went straight to the end-user. On another order, the customer agreed to pay express charges to get it here as quickly as possible. Ricoh doesn't seem to know the meaning of express ship because it didn't happen. We tracked the order all the way to our door with a tracking number that ended up not having the machine as part of the shipment and when the machine did finally get here, it wasn't the S/P we ordered,...

Re: DWF & DXF Printing

Wideformatguy ·
Just to make sure we're all on the same page... The new RW-480 has the capability to print native DWF files within a PCWIN job set without launching AutoCAD's Express View first and printing from the application. Technically, when you insert a DWF ( or a number of DWFs) within a PCWIN job set, that will automatically launch Express View when it hits PLOTBASE and then print it on the RW-480. This saves the user the need to open each DWF in Express View and then print the drawing(s) from the...

Re: DWF & DXF Printing

JasonR ·
So you are saying that the 480 will print without launching AutoCAD Express View by opening AutoCAD Express View? Just kidding, I know what you mean. This means the USER does not have to open each file in the application, the Plotbase software will automatically open and print each file. This *should* work much better than the DWG printing since DWF should be setup to print correctly without user intervention.
