Your newer Ricoh machines can do it provided that the firmware is up to date.

Update: Regardless of what I've found on forums or replies, true SMB2 or SMB3 scanning is not currently supported. Ricoh has acknowledged and is quickly working on firmware. As of now, there will be an updated firmware available before 8/1/2017 for all of the latest Mono "55" series and Color "04" series. Additionally, there will be more firmware released for the mid-volume, production, and desktop models in between now and the end of the year for current models. From what I understand,...

A good test is if it will scan to a current MAC which does not support SMB 1. The Samsungs have worked, and I believe the Konica Minoltas too. The Canon MFDs do not, not even the latest V3 IR-Advance MFDs. We need to add Authorized Send to support this. Vince

Hey P4P'ers! Quick question - I have several clients who abide religiously by the NIST standards for IT security. As a result, there are several of my clients that are currently working to disable SMB 1 on their servers and workstations - as per guidelines for upcoming audits.
