Re: PaperCut

wyzguynyuk ·
Old Glory, Not sure how long the MF version has been in play. I've only been back in the industry since January and my new dealership already had some PaperCut installations when I arrived. The software does have the behavior modification pop-ups you are referring to, and I'm told specialized scripts can be easily written to force almost any behavior. For instance, during a WebEx last week my PaperCut account rep told my client of a PaperCut installation in which the user set up a rule that...

If I was a purchaser looking for a vendor the first thing I'd be thinking about is will I still be dealing with the same company by the end of the contract. These guys are RIPE for a takeover.

I dont think you can do that, also Rossetta sells software helpful with check printing. You should reach out to your printer support rep at Ricoh corporate and see if they have a way for you to work with Rosetta and get more than a spiff. Or, you could contact Rosetta directly and see if you can purchase from them and then resell the printer to your customer.

It is a couple of months later and I have sent out maybe 3k emails. Not a whole lot of success yet but I remain optimistic. Very few requests to be deleted from my email list and I have a list that I can continue to expand and reach potential customers that I could never get to. I like the fact that I can contact 200-300 people every 8th week, 50 weeks of the year, that I suspect at some point in time in the next five years will buy a copier.

This will work anywhere but you have to subscribe to a database service that costs at least $100.00 per month. Then you have to be prepared to donate a couple of hours of your spare time per week for an extended period of time to build your database. I do not want you to think that this is a road to fast sales because it is definitely not but it will help to increase the pool of suspected decision makers that you can contact on a regular basis

Dmap it and the dealer will be authorized ricoh dealers...you can specify which dealer. To find dealer go to ricoh-usa.com then go to contact ricoh then service location database then select state and product line. This is the best way to find independent dealers. There is also a master list you can try to get from your DSM, but that is always the hardest.
