I have never had a prospective customer tell me anything other than thank you for sharing the information. What I have had is people throw that companies stuff in the trash in front of me, or hand it to me and say thanks you made the decision easy. Usually if they are throwing it away I just tell them I will take it and dispose of it for them after I get the information I need off it.

If it gets to the point where it looks like Xerox may lose, do you think they negotiate a fee to end the court battle? If HP (as rumored) was going to pay more than Fuji anyway (let's say ~6.6B vs Fuji's 6.1B offer), Xerox can pay a $400M walk fee and then sell to HP for the 6.6B. Fuji gets compensated, HP pays what their offer was and Xerox saves face by saying they sold for more than Fuji's offer.
