Re: Konica MInolta bizhub C258 1 Rate program proposal

Art Post ·
Special thanx to the p4p hotel member that emailed this to me today. What I noticed was that the proposal states that the one rate is "locked" for the term of the lease. Like I stated in of the webinars this can happen with approval. However the price book calls for the flat rate service on the C258 for $102 per month. Thus that's $23 per month over the published rate which nets another $1,380 in revenue. IS anyone else coming across proposals where KM is locking the price for the term of...

Obviously, I am not in your office but I feel I can guess what the purpose of those signs are and I have a hard time believing that they are suggesting that open dialog with peers on subjects designed (for the most part) to improve our production and effectiveness is the type of dialog they seek to condemn. Nude photos or threats against the President maybe but P4P hotel? Surely they have bigger things to worry about.

I agree. This seems to be the only source to find out the "real story" on machines, not just what our manufacturer reps and competitive brochures tell us. On P4P Hotel we can talk to people who actually have used/sold the products we're wondering about.

Just went through on the launch materials for the Canon 1700 series.....this thing will rock. The big A4 players better watch out because Canon will get this market share with the versatility and TCO of these units. They will have many knock out punches for those current A4 units out there.

Re: Proximity Card Reader

montecore ·
There are several ways that you can do this. Are you planning to use the HOTEL door cards? You will have to verify what type of card they are using. These might not be prox cards. Please provide more info to better help you. The best way to know for sure is get a card and test it. Not all cards work. 1) Dept ID's, those will have to be set up on the fly for clients. 2) AAProx with Tracker. AAProx is the card reader and Tracker is the software that allows charge back. 3) You can use...

Thanks for the update. Who said they were compatible with MIFARE cards? Magnetic strip cards is what I figured the hotel was using. Those work by a different mechanism. As Vince mentioned you can look at UniFlow but that might be a pricey option. You can also add a credit card/bill/coin-op solution for the business center. This is an easy way for walk up traffic. That way it keeps the front office people out of the equation to cash out guest. When you mention cloud printing what type are you...

The only information I have I got from P4P Hotel. Under the "Announcements" Topic, Ted has posted a Ricoh's Rollout Schedule for January-April 2003. In that it says the 1085 is being replaced with the 1090 and under "New Hardware Options" it says it will have GBC Online Punch, and choice of 6 replaceable customer diesets which I am guessing are the punch units.

Born in '69, thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Never failed a grade, but failed a test, ate worms, walked in my friends house without knocking and they did the same at my house. What we did knock was each other out a couple of times, well not completely out. Still walk around with both eyes, but my cousin did lose an eye by putting a stick in it by himself. Broke bones falling out of trees in my neighbors yard and crashing my bike. My friend ran over my knee going about 25 miles per...

This means you must continuously learn about the technology that you build solutions around. And that technology changes at least a little with each new product that is released into the field. Then members vote on which story is the best (not necessarily $$ wise) and then on February 14th of 2005 the votes are tallied and we award the Gregory Brown Memorial Achievement Award.
