It won't be for the low volume customer who doesn't need a full A3 system like the MP 3054. I haven't compared this with the 2501 yet, it has it's own limitations.

Are you the leads you receive local or nation-wide? I receive both, in fact two of my biggest deals this year came from a blog I wrote and a post on the forums. I remember the one deal and how could I forget, the owner of the company told me, "I will never ever buy a Ricoh". During the last 8 months I sold him an MP EXPRO1157, a used MP EXPRO1357 and an MP C6502!

Re: Ten Reasons Why the New Ricoh IM 350F, IM 430F and IM 430Fb is a Winner
Slight correction...both the IM 430F and the IM 430Fb are 43 ppm. Additional info...the 430F (SP 501) has a Service Maintenance platform while the 430Fb (SP 502) has a User Maintenance platform. The SP 510 and SP 502 are printer only versions of their respective MFP's. As far as I know, the SP's and the IM 350 (350F without a standard fax) have not been launched yet. It is interesting to note that the service training does not reference the MP 301SPF or the MP 402SPF at all. The new IM units...

I agree with you, by 2008 the big Aficio points and the big commissions were gone. All of the other manufacturers caught up with the technology. In addition Ricoh rested on their laurels with the 240W and waited way to long to bring an upgrade to the market place. I average about 1.5 new wide formats per month, GP is significantly down, but it's now a decent revenue generator. The Ricoh MP W6700SP is now three years old and needs a refresh. What does Ricoh have in the works?

Avoid Insulting the Customer Obvious, right? Well, people do it without even realizing by using comments like "did you understand that?" and "are you following what I'm saying?". This automatically shrinks the customers' intelligence and ability to catch on. It is down to your own ability to make the customer understand and therefore if you feel the customer is failing to do so, use comments such as "did I explain that clearly" and so on. I guess the BIG news of the week from ten years ago was ere 50 cuts that Ricoh performed that week. However, that was right after the IKON purchase and within four months (end of Japanese) there was to be major cuts with high level legacy employees. Seems to me that one of the covenants if the Ricoh purchase was that all high level Ikon peeps would replace those at Ricoh. AS Vince would say "that's my two cents". I mentioned in the previous blog that we had our Kickoff Sales meeting for 2020 yesterday. Rather than drive the three hours home I opted to stay over night and leave first thing in the AM. 2019 was a very good year, I was back in President's Club for the 7th time, got me a $50 gift card for winning a contest at our branch.
