Re: Question: Xerox technicians
I can confirm a new offering. Xerox has a new program for signing on new dealers and not putting them in the Global or Agent bucket. These dealers can then be trained to use thier own technicians. I will check with my source about them using Xerox techs.

Re: Lost two deals in one day
Art, Write your main contact(s) a nice email saying that you are sorry you lost their business, and if there is anything you can ever do to help them please don't hesitate to call or email you. Then check in six months and see how their service after the sale is. If their service is poor maybe your company can steal back the service. That does not help you immediately but the next time you put in a proposal you will NOT have to be the cheapest. Because they will have seen what cheap service...

Re: Lost two deals in one day
Along the line of Vince's thinking, recommend that they sign a separate service agreement from the lease & that they ask for a clause that allows them to terminate the Service Agreement if satisfactory service levels are not delivered. This gives you a better shot of being able to get the service back if they are unhappy.

Vince THanx for this. I just pulled up a recent Wikipedia on them: Thoma Bravo Purchases Kofax [ edit ] Thoma Bravo , a private equity and growth capital firm , secured the July 2017 acquisition of Lexmark’s Enterprise Software business which consists of three entities: Kofax, ReadSoft , and Perceptive Software. [36] Following this, Kofax and ReadSoft would combine into a single, newly independent Thoma Bravo portfolio company. [37] The First Mile [ edit ] The “First Mile” is a trademark of...

Re: Lancaster resident wins national Konica Minolta Demo Challenge
Quite the honor I'm sure but I wander the wisdom of this contest in today's marketplace. How many man (or women) hours were invested by reps nationwide practising for and competing in a contest for skills that are seldom used anymore? I can't remember the last time I did a competitive demo to win a sale. Is it just me? Do salesreps do competitive demos much anymore? 20 years ago it was critical but not so much anymore.
