Jason, this right be right up your alley! Even though it's ten years old there's a thread about Reynolds & Reynolds. I recently had to take my car in for service. I was astonished that the dealer was using yellow card stock for the first order ticket and when the service was complete, there were an additional, four sheets of paper generated, yup that's a total of five pages for every repair! First and foremost Happy Fourth of July! Most interesting is the first thread about one of my largest accounts being "stolen" from RBS ten years ago. My how the tables have now turned! Email 2 Ricoh America Corp about RBS 7/3/078:16 PM 6, the other Design Ideas Group (lost 6 machines). Why are they doing this to Ricoh Dealers???? Boy, do I have a lot of gripes, was a thread I posted on the forums ten years ago. That thread brings back memories of some of the bs that I've muddled through over the years. Thinking back, I remember what my wife tells me, "don't sweat the small stuff". In the grand scheme of things commissions, money, sales, is the small stuff in life. Family, and health is the BIG stuff, and is something I care about most. Enjoy the threads from Ten years ago this week! Sales positions in SE Wisconsin...

Oh gesh, do I remember those first gel-printers from Ricoh. They were cool, priced right, however almost all of the ended up with error codes (I think the code was E-99). The end result of the code was to throw the system in the trash It's ten years later and I bother with the small ink printers from Ricoh anymore. Although I'm a pretty big fan of the CW2201 color wide format that uses in. Placed three of these so far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will perform. Enjoy the...

There's an interesting thread below titled A4 Device Poll. It's a short thread and I disable the poll site years ago. However, from reading the thread it was about ten years ago that A4 devices were starting to talk hold. There's an interesting thread below about the Riso V8000 which was a dual color single pass duplicator. At the time I was selling the Ricoh products and all we had was the Ricoh TCII. Where Riso developed a single device that was able to print colors, Ricoh came out with an optional slave device. You could not print to the Ricoh TCII, in order to get two colors in a single pass, you had to make the masters on a single color Ricoh duplicator. Once the masters were made you then had to...

The one thread below reminded me of a recent appointment with a healthcare account. So, much for FAX is DEAD, right? Seems health care still needs and loves faxing. I'm guessing it's because faxing is still the most secure way of sending a document or maybe it's because it's just easier compliance for HIPAA. What ever the reason, FAX is NOT Dead with healthcare. I could look at the remaining week of selling days as 75% of the month is gone, or there's still 25% of the month left (woohoo). I prefer to choose that I still have 25% of the month left. It's funny that the Seri Model 25 shows up this week in the list of threads! I'm currently involved with trying to place a Seri and a DD with a Pharma account. Ricoh discontinued the Seri printers years ago, not sure why, it could have been because of slow sales and the fact that there were not that many opportunities for them. The Seri Model 25 uses a UV light to cure the ink from a digital duplicator. You need special ink, modified duplicator drums and then the Seri attaches to the end of...
