Re: COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Sixteen of Sales

Isn't it crazy how quickly the time flies when you're working remotely? I feel like at least once I day I look at the clock and in confusion say is it really 1pm ?! This is certainly very interesting times. One thing I think you touched on in a blog post is the fact that it also gives you time to do things that are important to sales but not A-time important. I've found in working with my sales team we've been able to do some real good clean up in our CRM (bad data went in, we're getting...

COVID19 Remote Working Day One Hundred and Thirty-Seven of Selling

Art Post ·
I'm starting to lose track of days. I'm not sure if this was Thursday or Friday last week that but our Governor extended his Emergency Order act for another thirty days. Thus it seems that all businesses will not be back in the office for another 30 days. In addition one of the counties that I cover had 40% of the overall daily cases in NJ. At this point it's nothing I can control and I need to get going about my daily business of helping clients and finding ways to get clients to the finish...

COVID19 Remote Working Day Two Hundred and Ninety Days of Selling Copiers, Managed IT & Content Just now I realized that it's been seven business days since I last blogged with this blog series. I believe that's the longest stint I've logged without blogging since the pandemic started. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in previous blogs but I've been able to survive the entire pandemic without the use of home office printer/scanner. At first it was rather cumbersome since my entire order...

Is the Pandemic Over Yet?

Art Post ·
I've been thinking quite a bit about the world that I now sell in. With the Delta variant picking up steam here in the East, I'm concerned that the Pandemic may have not run it's course just yet. It's my belief that this pandemic started here in the US in late November or early December of 2019. The reason I believe that is because everyone in my family got sick in December and all of us tested negative for the flu. It was nasty for us but we came out it. We'll never know since there was no...

A lot of unknows that is for sure @Art Post , but your last sentence says and means it all. Keep grinding, working hard and good things will come. Be genuine, empathetic to each customers specific scenario and requests (masks/vax card/etc) and utilize video meetings when applicable. Good luck out there, summers almost over so we're supposed to see some people coming back from vacation mode to work mode right?

Researching Digital Signatures and Digital Seals for Wide Format

Many states have adopted digital signatures and seals for submission of pdf wide format documents. NJ is not there yet, however in short time I'm sure NJ will catch up to states like NY and PA. Here's a good starter for information: https://www.identrust.com/support/howdoi/accepting-digital-signatures-created-identrustr-igc-certificates

A Few Copier Vignettes from the Late Eighties & Nineties

Art Post ·
Re-post from 2018 The picture in the header showed our demo room back in either 1989 or 1990, might have even been 1991. As you can see by the photo Atlantic Office Systems (the first one in NJ) was Authorized for Adler Royal, Brother, and Tele VaxaFax (facsimile). Sometime later Adler Royal was purchased by Mita and the Adler Royal brand was changed to Copystar. I thoroughly hated the name Copystar because there was no brand recognition, at least with Adler Royal, our clients knew about...
