I think I smell something fishy here, could be herring or bluefish! I looked up the contract number for the State of NJ and the contract refers to a cost per copy program. Unless it changed, you commit to x amount of prints for color & black every month and you then pay that price plus the overages. The word "Lease" is in the quote, plus there is price for the lease and then the price for the maintenance & service. So, I would have to say that this is not a cost per copy and then how...

Get a quote from a Ricoh Professional...Now that's funny. But don't worry the dealers are the most important part of Ricoh's strategy and plans going forward. They can't even update the Savin or Lanier site. Being a Savin dealer I have people rather frequently who go on the site and are turned off by how old and outdated it looks.

Will be interesting to see what, if anything, ever comes of it. We have talked a lot before about leads from the manufacturer. Maybe, just maybe, that request a quote will be shared with dealers as well. Of course with is being a Savin dealer I won't hold my breath that "Ricoh" will send us leads. I've gotten a couple in the last few years but they came from the Savin website requests. Not sure what I've gotten from Ricoh lately except heartburn and stress.

Or maybe the rep knows they are leasing no matter what so shows a really cheap cash price and so they think that's what they are financing? (And not multiplying the payments to see how much they are really paying?)

Perfect Copier Quoting Tool Could Save Your Reps upto 100 hours a Year

Art Post ·
On the 19th, 29th and 21st of this month, there is a webinar about quoting tools for copier dealers. It is interesting when you consider how long it takes for most of us to put together quotes. It gets even more important when there are 5, 10, 20 or 50 reps selling for a company. We were working out how expensive doing quotes can be. 1 rep doing 15 quotes per month Each quote takes 30 minutes 7.5 Hours per month (basically 1 selling day per month) - We expect most reps will save this much...

Why We Decided to Make Our Own Copier Quoting Tool

Art Post ·
Why We Decided to Make Our Own Copier Quoting Tool Getting clients good information is critical to a sales process and we have taken a lot of time and energy to create quotes that are easy for us to make, and give the client a good feeling about the options they are choosing. I would not want to go to a car dealership and have them only want to show me one car, or to a realtor and only see one house. We like to see options when we buy stuff, so I thought about how can it be easy for clients...

Usually I take Friday nights (yah I know it's Monday) off from writing a blog. My Friday's are usually spent relaxing with access to my iPhone or PC, and watching Gold Rush and ZNation. I had a call from my buddy Jesse with Pahoda Imaging while on my way back to the office from an appointment. Jesse is the smartest dude when it comes to marketing copiers on line. He's got his stuff down! Jesse sends me this link to check out one of his copier sites that he's just built. He told me that it...

5 Tips to Help You Increase Your Sales in 2019

Art Post ·
I started to title this blog and then stopped because I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with this. I wanted to write about the start of the new year and what reps can do to increase their skills and sales from last year. The first thing we need to do is to forget about last year. Whether you were a winner or a loser last year is over! An old saying in sales "is that you're only as good as your last month". Now is the time to forget about last year, now is the time to set your sales goals...

.0049 is WOW, just stupid. But, we all know the .0049 will be raised after the first year. In this case, would you not think that the first year would be 20% or higher? Just recently, I saw another quote, that Sharp device was .008 with no increases for the term of the lease. The question becomes, are we willing to spill the beans that most of the competition has annual increases?
