Re: Jon Langdon with DocuWare Chats about Dealer Value with Version 6.8, DocuWare Forms, Mobility & SMB Adoption

Hi Art, The DocuWare ad on the far right side still has a “squashed” look to the graphic when viewed from my PC. The other vendors’ ads appear in proportion. [cid:image001.png@01D131C4.17A363F0] No banner ads from any vendor appear when viewing on an iPhone. Kathy

Jon Langdon with DocuWare Chats about Dealer Value with Version 6.8, DocuWare Forms, Mobility & SMB Adoption

Art Post ·
As paper based documents decline, I would expect that digital documents will increase, nothing scientific here, documents will never cease to exist! Office Equipment Dealers can and should be the stewards of those digital documents, either by selling document management software or enabling clients with Managed Document Services. I had a day of down time at the end of the last quarter and was able to catch up with Jon Langdon who is Vice President Product & Development for DocuWare. Jon...

This Week in the Copier/Office Equipment Industry 10 Years Ago The Second Week of April 2006

Art Post ·
I n 2006, at least for me, wide format was the product to sell! I couldn't have cared less about selling a copier, I wanted to dig under every rock and find those wide format opportunities. On a recent presentation I gave in Texas, I was asked, "why focus on wide format?". My answer was simple, higher revenue, higher GP, DM is usually accessible, AEC market values IT, and I get the chances to sell them a copier somewhere down the road also. It's the two for one thing! Report Validates...

The power of Tigerpaw One Software — with James Foxall

Art Post ·
I sat down with James Foxall to find out how Tigerpaw is leaping into the office equipment space with a fully vetted product Well, there's one thing that James and I have in common, boy can we talk it up! So much, that this will be a two part interview. It’s unusual to find a 30-year-old company that still has the passion and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, but that’s exactly what I found when I interviewed James Foxall, CEO of Tigerpaw . I caught up with James in-between his busy days...

This Week in the Copier Industry 15 Years Ago (First Week of October 2004)

Art Post ·
I had this short chat with my VP of Sales today. I exhausted my pipeline in recent months, not as much time to prospect during that time. Put the foot on the pedal this week with almost 70 calls, and 40 plus emails. Resulting in 10 appointments and 3 opportunities for about $50K. Need to do the same for the next 3 weeks! The Week in Copiers Fifteen Years Ago

Art Post ·
The Week in Copiers Fifteen Years Ago The Second Week of February 2006 I had a little time after work today to review a Minnella's Pocket Guide to Copiers (low and middle volume) from 1990. I wanted to see how many companies were in the business that offered dealerships. Notice I did call them manufacturers and the reason for that is many of these companies bought the copiers from the manufacturer but then re-labeled them as a different brand. Can anyone guess how many there were in 1990? Do...

COVID19 Remote Working Day Two Hundred and Fifty-Three of Selling

Art Post ·
My day started kinda slow with our weekly virtual sales meeting with the team. After that it was time to make the rounds with calls and emails to move some opportunities closer to the finish line. In the end I was able to get one opportunity closer to the ordering process and the rest of the calls and emails seems to have fallen on deaf ears today. Yes with five selling days left the thought of pulling a zero is weighing on me. My afternoon was supposed to be dedicated to calls and emails...
