Re: "You've just WON Presidents Club, What Are You Going to D0 Now?"

Wallingford ·
"I Love Cold Calling!" Don't worry - I haven't lost my mind. (Yet.) Cold calling isn't fun. You know it and I know it. So why did I say that? Because I can remember countless times when I heard someone say, "Cold calling is fun!" In fact, I even did it once. It's true. Early on in my sales career, when I was going from job to job, failing by cold calling, and not understanding why it wasn't working - after all, my managers all said it would work - I began deluding myself into believing that...

I'm thinking of doing the premium membership I'm in The dfw area of Texas. Do you get a lot of copier leads for the state of Texas?

Hi Karl, I've seen at least a couple over my time here. The real benefit (IMHO) of the premium membership is the pricing and proposals you are privy to. It really helps to get an understanding of what street pricing is for certain brands and models.

Hey karl there are leads for Texas, and Texas is so massive there are spread out. Czech hit the nail on the head if you're just in it for the leads you maybe disappointed, it's the other stuff that has more value. Don't get me wrong their will be leads I just can guarantee how many and where they will come from

Four Glorious Reasons Why You Should Attend BTA National Conference in NYC

Art Post ·
Every year I try to attend at least one BTA event. This year I'll be attending my first ever BTA National Conference in New York City on September 19th through the 20th. I haven't decided if I'm going to take the SeaStreak ferry from Highlands or have a Uber buddy of mine drive me in on the 19th and pick me up on the 21st. I'm pretty lucky that I think I have the best view of the NYC skyline in all of New Jersey, others might disagree, but I've got one heck of a view. One of the events that...

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Seventeen of Sales

Before I get started on my day I'd like to share a Youtube video from BTA and Brent Hoskins. BTA has some excellent resources for dealers to navigate through these tough times. COVID19 Today in New Jersey we had our highest one day death toll to date. I believe it was somewhere around 246 souls that passed in the last 24 hours. Today our Governor notified us that all non-essential construction will be shut down as of Friday at 5PM. There goes the next to last bit of the economy that was...

5 Reasons Why I'm Going to Spring Break BTA in New Orleans in March!

I'm about to make my first ever trip to New Orleans for BTA's Spring Break event. A fewmemories come to mind when thinking about New Orleans, The Super Bowl (many of them, in fact the first ten), Mardi Gras, NOMDA Show, and Katrina. Since I'm going to be a newbie in New Orleans for March 18th & March 19th, I'll be staying at the BTA recommended Intercontinental New Orleans. Similar to last years event at the Grand Floridian, IBPI is hosting their event on March...
