It's been almost two years since Ricoh showed the RICOH Pro L4000 at Drupa.  The system was suppose to launch the last quarter of 2013.  Has anyone heard anything on this??

I took a visit to the Ricoh japan site and couldn't even find wide format products on the site.  To boot the wide format product manager at Ricoh resigned a shor time ago.

I hope Ricoh can bring back the magic they had when Linda ran the division. Plotworks has been a great product with great support once you learn the capabilities. It is an excellent PlotBase replacement product.

I cannot think of a better time to be selling Wide Format- here in the SE, industry is back on it's feet and growing.

Agreed about the production thing with wide format.  But dude you're less than stellar at returning calls, and if you're referring to me digging for information for a blog, well, you're way off base.  Plus how can you make that statement,  if you don't call the person back to find out what they need?

It's not only me, I've spoken to others and we all agreed you were not that good when it came to call backs. Now, this doesn't mean I don't like you, I do like you, but dude you gotta call people back in a timely manner.

Good Luck in your new roll and hope if works for you.  Ricoh wide format will be another issue with PPBG.

You were atrocious at returning phone calls. And for you to state that you returned calls in a timely manner that you deemed important takes the cake and proves the point.
Additionally, the sales reps in the field who religiously continue to sell the wide format product are the reason for any continued success in that area of Ricoh's product line. With the mandatory increase in price and a stale product lineup most days it is a difficult exercise.
