Konica Minolta Australia has today announced the release of its newest workflow solution, Dispatcher Phoenix.

Konica Minolta says the solution ensures organisations can secure important business information, drive productive collaborations and distribute documents directly to content management systems via its processing features, batch scanning and indexing tools, and direct connectors to other vendors’ systems.

Research shows employees spend considerable time on recurring tasks as part of their everyday office work. 

As much as 45% of the activities workers are paid to perform can be automated by adapting currently demonstrated technologies, according to McKinsey. This represents around USD$2 trillion in annual wages.

Often these tasks involve a lot of manual intervention at each step, which results in lost productivity. 

In some cases, automation of systems and processes can improve an organisation’s security landscape, and Konica Minolta says organisations are at constant risk of a data breach if the right systems and processes aren’t in place.

“For efficiency and economy, modern businesses need to automate and integrate routine office tasks,” says Konica Minolta Australia director of innovation Shane Blandford.
